    Sudha beautiful work...you could go for small round beads or big square beads and give a double frame to give 3d effect to enhance the beauty of your ganeshaaa!!! When will the next ganesha come and in which pattern...Eagerly awaiting!!!

    :)dear sudha fine finish you have given it, leave some canvas for the framers to use .....any chamki you use should have endurance iit should not get dull or lose original shine out of it use, a good quality zari or whatever suit it.....i usually leave it to the focus shop[framers] to finish it if iam confused their frames and finish i good......do whatever suit our ganesha most :thumbsup

    Dear Sudha,
    Exactly .... that was in mind !!
    If you are using dark colors like Red. Ganesha will appear very prominent !

    Beautiful Ganeshji. You are so talented. I have seen and enjoyed lot of your works here. In fact next to Chitra Mam's recipes I think I saw yours (7 day kolams) and Saroj's beautiful work and am a fan of both the gifted ladies.

    Like you most of our friends have suggested beads as outline.
    I like your idea of double frame 3D effect.

    Thank you Malliga, glad to have your input here.
    I totally forgot about leaving some space for the framers who will utilise them.
    I will arrange the chamki / bead and see first making sure there is enough space at the sides for the framers !!

    Gowri, I think I definitely need to cover the printed stuff using fabric paints that you suggested and the bead idea sounds gr8 since most of our friends also suggested the same.
