My 14 month old and his obsession for books

    Dear all,

    I am not really sure if i should be happy or alarmed... but my 14 month old seems to be just obsessed with books.... i bought him books of birds, animals, pets, vegetables, fruits and others... and all the day when other kids are busy playing with toys my little boy wants to only read books... yesterday we were at a store and while there were toys around my little fellow wanted only books... i took one off the shelf and he immediately started looking through and started pulling pointing at something in the book and wanting me to say what it was....
    i feel very happy to see him being a vivid reader hopefully it continous when he grows up as well.... but i want him to not only read but just play....

    does anyone here share similar experience..

    While I say you are blessed, also try to give him an opportunity to interact with kids about his age!...this will help him be balanced and rounded!
