    Mustard Fish

    <table border="0" cellpadding="5" cellspacing="2" width="100%"><tbody><tr><td><table align="left" bgcolor="#fff1e6" border="0" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="2" width="420"><tbody><tr><td>6 medium-sized pieces of Rohu fish (cleaned)
    4 tbsp mustard oil
    1/2 tsp turmeric powder
    1/4 tsp red chilli powder
    3 tbsp mustard seeds
    5 to 6 green chillies
    1 inch ginger
    5 to 6 cloves garlic
    Salt to taste
    Banana leaves (for wrapping the fish)

    Method: Wash the fish pieces well. Marinate the fish in 3 tbsp mustard oil, salt, turmeric powder and red chilli powder. Leave aside for 30 minutes. Meanwhile make a paste of mustard seeds, green chillies, ginger and garlic and mix it with the fish.

    Grease the banana leaves with one tbsp mustard oil. Wrap the fish pieces in the greased banana leaves and place in a pre-heated oven at 180 degrees C. for 20 minutes. Serve hot.
