Last blog we saw that Asaveri could help in boosting confidence. let us see Ahirbhairav in this blog...

Ahir bhairav, is a hindustani raga and chakravaham is the carnatic equivalent. It is a early morning Raga.

Ahir Bhairav is one of my favourites.

I fell in love with this raga because of the song Pibare Rama Rasam. When I was a kid, there was this telugu movie, in which vijayashanthi sings this song, I fell in love with this song then. It is a Sadasiva brahmendrar krithi...and he has written it so well..the same song has been sung in Yamuna Kalyani but I somehow feel Ahir bhairav sets the mood for this song.

So what does this morning raga help in..Well guys it helps in curing Indigestion and also hypertension. In this fast and stressful phase..just pick up ahirbhairav, if you are prone to get indigestion or your blood pressure is erratic.

.But this is an additional supplementing therapy..please don't stop your medication if you are on one.

Thank you. The list of songs I refer is a safe list that is I list only from the songs which I have with me..so if somebody asks me I can upload..

How many times we would have sung/hummed that sollah baras ki from Ek Dujhe ke liye..next time we will remember it is Ahir bhairav...

Don't forget to bring the ullathil nalla ullam song, when you come here. I love the song for the lyrics. Now, I have another reason to listen to this song.
