Moving to McHenry, IL

    Dear ILites,

    I will be moving to Mchenry, IL in two weeks. Is anybody from that / surrounding area (s)? I would love to meetup / make friends if anybody is nearby.

    I have a two year old - so, please suggest any place of activity for him in the nearby areas. And, what would be a good Indian grocery store nearby?

    Any other useful info / tip about the area is also very much appreciated!

    Welcome to IL! Trust you have settled down. If you enquire with your park district, they will usually have preschool facilities or guide you to one. The closest Indian store I found is Surabhi in streamwood.
