Moving to Austin - where to live?

    I just moved to orange county in California. I miss Austin :-(

    Moving to CA from Austin sounds strange, unless you had a compelling reason to do so, as we hear loads and loads of families moving the other way :)

    Glad to see you sharing a lot of neighborhood info about Austin, shows how much you liked it here.

    Yup... job brought us out here. Hoping to move back in a few years.. can't wait till that day comes.

    Hello Ladies,
    we are planning to move from Germany to Austin in Feb with 2 kids . One is in 6th grade and the other in kindergarden . Here in Germany they are going to same school . I find it difficult to search for 2 schools near the apartment . My husbands job is near William Cannon Dr, Austin, TX 78735 . Can you ladies please suggest some schools and apartment near this area .

    Any suggestions on falconhead apartments and schools nearby for both my kids .

    Hi all we are going to move to Austin in couple of months.
    1)Can you all suggest a good apt in Round rock/Cedar park area where lots of Desi families live and having grocessories near by or
    2)Husband's work place is in Great Hills.Can you suggest any good apt over there with desi population
    3) Good montessori too.

    After going through many reviews totally confused and some reviews in online also mentioned about some apt having roaches problem and some r having rats problem.So really scared with 2 kids and 1 being infant.Plz help me ladies
