Hey banuma, Thanks for liking it.. Any biryani tastes awesome when it is made with basmathi rice...But if you would like to compromise on taste better you go for normal rice
Hi !!!! Thanks Spupula for putting up this recipe. I tried a similar method of making biryani (I think Biryani cooked in this style is referred to as DUM BIRYANI), but with a variation. I end up sealing the lid with dough and then leave it to cook on very slow flame for half an hour atleast so that the flavoured steam remains inside and I open the lid just before serving. This biryani preparation is very yummy and I have tried it with mutton and prawns as well. It is equally tasty. My DH just adores the combination of biryani and dahi wadas instead of raita or salad. Try it out!!!
Thank you dear friend for this superb recipe looks rocking and yummy will try this and say you name with it Spupula
hi gurbani, Thanks a lot for ur fb and suggestions. Yes sealing with dough enable the steam and aroma to be inside and add lot of flavour to it.. I have tried it already
Guess what....I just made that for dinner tonight and I saw your reply. Since it is Eid tomorrow, I thought of having a similar dinner at home. Thanks....hav a lovely day
Tnx a lottttt for the recipe spuppala...it was a super duper hit at my home. God bless u -added salt to both marination as well as rice but still salt was less...how much salt to put approximately? -should i chop the green chilli to small small pieces to add to marination? -chilli powder is present in ur recipe procedure but not there in ur ingredients list. should it be added or not? -is it cumin pwd-½tsp and coriander pwd-½tsp? -is it gingergarlic paste- 2tbsp? Once again thanks a lottttttttttt dear for such a sweet sweet recipe.
