My 11 month old son is having some redness in the tongue. Earlier last week he had cough and cold and I had given the medicines prescribed by doctor. I noticed this mouth ulcer yesterday, since then have applied ghee/sesame oil. Can you please suggest me any other remedies? I am skeptical to give tender coconut water as he still has cough though cold has reduced a little.
@Suprajah, Its common among babies to have this redness. The saliva in the mouth is a best antiseptic and it is much more than enough to solve the inflmmation . Continue to apply ghee.That is good enough.
hi... for the babies for mouth ulcer usually they give a mixture of benadryl,maalox 1;1 ratio give that mixture... it will help to solve the ulcers. because of that they dont want to eat anything... giving this for 2 days will help them get better. just check with the doctor and see if they want to give it to them or not..
