MW MIlk Chocolate - a Jiffy sweet for Deepavali ! MW with high power like 8-900 watts - 5 mtes & lower power - 7 mtes. Milk powder - 1 heaped cup Sugar - 1 level cup White butter - 50 gms (1/4 cup) Cocoa powder - 1 tbsp Water - 1/3 cup Mix milk powder and cocoa and seive . In a bowl mix water and sugar, stirring well. Micro Hi for 5-7 mts, stirring every 2 mts in between to dissolve the sugar. Test by dropping a drop in cold water - it should roll into a soft ball. First add butter & mix well. Add dry ingredients , mix well with a hand beater or spatula. Leave for 5 mts and immediately cut into pieces.

MW Jain Gobi-Paneer Sabji - can be made on stove top also This goes very well with parathas & pulaos. Cut cauliflower into small flowerettes. Chopped flowerettes - 2 cup Chopped or grated paneer - ½ cup Tomatoes - 2 medium ( blanche & puree) To temper: Oil - 2 tsp Cinnamon - 1 “ Cloves - 3,4 Cardamom - 2,3 Mince together: Green chillies - 2, 3 Ginger - 1 “ Soak for 2 hrs & grind fine: Melon seeds - 2 tbsp ( substitute 1 tbsp cashew if this is not available Red chilli powder - 1 tsp Salt, haldi Steam cauliflower in a MW steamer for 5-6 mts. In a casserole, take oil & the tempering ingredients. MW hi for 3 mts. Remove & add tomato pulp & minced green chillies & ginger. MW hi for 5 mts. Now add ground paste, red chilli powder, cauliflower, salt & 2-3 tbsp water. MW on medium for 7, 8 mts. Add crumbled paneer & mix well. Leave for 5 mts & remove. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
