    Hi Ladies,

I need to buy a new mixer grinder(mixie) for my kitchen as the old one is now not working. Should i go in for a food processor which seems to have chopping, dough kneading, juicer and shredding options or the normal mixer grinder having 3 or 4 jars along with juicer.
My estimated budget is around 4k.
    Please suggest.

    Thanks...

For the indian cooking, mixer is the real best friend.... I have a mixer and food processor combo, but I rarely use the food processor part of it (I prefer chopping vegetables for 2-4 people the old style way, the cleaning is also easier that way... prefer chopper only for some types of vegetables really and only when a lot of people are coming)

Depends on your requirements. If you have a small family Mixer / juicer is best. Like McNair said, food processor comes handy if you are cooking for lot of people. Like her I also find it easy to chop by hand, or maybe you can buy manual choppers/ shredders which are easy to clean.
But finally you have to think about your requirements and how you prefer to handle them. Maybe you are not deterred by the cleaning factor and prefer to cut by machine. Only you can answer that.

Food Processor successfully after bought no one use it properly to the extent.

So Mixer is good as per budget. You can get easily Prestige 5 Jar Mixer :)

in my experience, best place to get feedback is the repair shop. ask which models come more for repairing and then stay away from them !
