how and when to observe Ekadasi ? Dear ILs: I am not sure on which Ekadasi to be observed. I know that we have two ekadasis. One after the full moon and another after the no moon day. both are on the 11th day. I understand that only one of these ekadasi is to be observed. Please explain if you know the details. How ekadasi to be observed as well.

Abhishekam at home Hi I have idols of vinayagar mahalakshmi and krishna at home. Every friday i used to do pujas for which i decorate those idols with sandal paste, kumkum and flowers. what i would like to know is whether we can do abhishekams as they do in temples like pouring milk curd water and then decorate. If yes is there any set of rules or the way we should follow to perform that. Pls let me know. Thanks Vidyasundar
