medical transcription

Hi,
I am a new member currently living in virginia. The reason for my replying to your message is I too want some information about Medical transcription in US. In India I took MT training and started to work for 2 months as trainee but moved to US. Here now I am waiting for my work permit so I want to gather some details about MT. My friends gave me some web addresses, most of the sites asking us to download and take training from home. I want to take proper training(in person) and job placement. Also I want to know whether MT has any potential in US. Any friends know about this field please help me.

I got my work permit and currently working as accounts assistant(parttime). But i am looking for some full time career which will pay me reasonably. If you have informations about MT in US please share with me. As I said in my earlier post I did 6 months course in MT at B'lore, India and started as trainee for 2 months but i moved to US and was in dependent visa . if you have informations about any genuine company which gives training or placement please give me. I am in Virginia.

I am having 5 years experience in home transcription. Please help me regarding getting jobs directly from US. Preferably single physician or clinic note. I have seen many people saying they are getting direct US clients but I don't know how to approach. If any body knows please help.

I was browsing IL and your post caught my attention. I live in NJ too and want to hear from you about the MT course that you has taken. Where are you doing the course? Have you completed it?
