Meal Plans to Lower Cholesterol

    My husband has high cholesterol and often gets angina pain. It would be great to get some meal plans from forum members, who know more about this problem, so that his cholesterol problem can be reduced. Any other additional infomration would also be great. He doesnt eat fryed food, or food with ghee in it.

    I have successfully reduced my cholestrol and now out of medication. The key point is identify our own healthy food and good exercise. In my case i switched my white rice to brown rice and 45 mins of exercise.

    Hi dear,

    more fiber (steel cut oats is a good breakfast)
    pinch or two cinnamon powder every day must
    and fistful walnut is must

    all these besides work out and healthy diet over all.
    My husband started for 6 months will know soon if it helped. Will keep you posted. If I do not do PM me please.
    someobdy told me, in boiled tea water, add honey and lemon and drink that every day. I have not have him try that yet

    Inculde oats in your meal plan because oat contains 0% fat and as other members said you can garlic inside it. I eat oat every morning with a milk. Oats it good your have to give it to your husband. :)
