Marriage Announcement

I'm sure married ladies here & their husband's would have followed different ways & methods to announce their marriage among their friends circle by email, phone and even through letters.

Here, I am sharing a very innovative way of our friend in communicating the news about his marriage via email.

The email subject was - "Flash News"

The body of the email follows...

"Folks,
The red signal in my bachelorhood autobahn has been turned on and I am
being detoured to take a stop and go scenic route all the way to my
destination.

A date has been finalized for the merger of "JLK Engg. Ltd." and "Uma
Financial Inc." by the interestholders. The date is Dec. 8 2002, Sunday
and interestholders in both firms will vote with flowers on the same
day. The merger @ Kovilpatti, would be based on 90% feelings swap and
10% traditional formalities. As per the deal, "JLK Engg." will own and
take full responsibility of "Uma Fin."'s assets and in turn "Uma Fin."
will get export license to the US. The combined unit will be called
"JLK Family".

Interest holders of both sides are bullish about this merger. Since
there already exists a good relationship between both firms, the CEOs
of both firms are already discussing the areas of commonality and
advancement for the future. One source close to "JLK Engg." quoted,
"This strategic merger is extremely necessary for Jlk Engg. both in the
near-term, wherein the firm will benefit from the operations expertise
of Uma Fin. as well as in the long-term, wherein the synergy will fuel
outstanding happiness growth. There is a little bit downside in the
gross margin in the near-term because of extra spending, but due to a
december merger, the net margin should look extremely good for next
year, as the merged company will fall in the new tax bracket for the
fiscal'02 without the related expenses showing up in the fiscal'02".

As CEO of JLK Engg. I am very optimistic about the planned merger. I
will remain President and CEO of "JLK Family" and the President of "Uma
Fin." will take over as the CFO of "JLK Family". The combined unit will
be headquartered in the bayarea for a while and the emotional divisions
will remain in TamilNadu, India. A key approval from the INS is
expected post-merger after which the HQ might be shifted to a different
place.

As Class EEE stakeholders in "JLK Engg", I invite you to personally
attend the merger and give your vote of approval. Honestly, I would be
glad if each and everyone could attend, but realistically, I would be
honored if those who would be in India by Dec could attend the merger.
If you could not attend in person, proxies are allowed too (This is not
Thermodynamics class anyway..

If you may recall, an announcement was made in June 2002 about the merger of "JLK Engg Ltd." and "Uma Accounting Inc" in Dec '02 into "JLK Family". I am pleased to further announce that the merger has been working out quite successfully and "JLK Family" is expected to make a spinoff on TaxDay '06 as mentioned in the forward looking statements at the time of the merger. A name has not been identified yet, but will be referred to as "Baby Inc" in this announcement.

"Baby Inc" will be a wholly-owned subsidiary of "JLK Family" and I, the CEO of "JLK Family" and Uma, the CFO of "JLK Family" will be on the board of directors of the new spinoff. The spinoff will be underwritten by "Altos Oaks Medical Group". Initial caring and grooming of "Baby Inc" is planned to be outsourced to the experienced "Parents and Inlaws Associates" based in Chennai, India which was instrumental in the successful growth of "JLK Engg" and "Uma Accounting". The outsourcing is contingent upon a key B2 approval from the "Department of Homeland Security" which is expected to comethrough before the spinoff. Interest holders in "JLK Family" are elated about the spinoff and are eagerly looking forward to Apr 06.

Sources close to "JLK Family" were able to sense the spinoff much earlier but were given a gag order to neither confirm nor deny such an event until this official announcement. Their cooperation is much appreciated. The underwriters are not in a position at this time to tell whether "Baby Inc" would be of class "B" or class "G" and so we cannot make any guidance into the future. But we strongly believe that "Baby Inc" will be much more succesful than "JLK Family" ever irrespective of its class.
