Mangala Gowri Vratham

Hi all,

Can anybody tell me where will I find the procedure of doing this vratam in Maharashtrian way.
Pls help, I want to do this puja, but unable to find any details.

Do you know Tamil? If you know Tamil I can recommend a book not only for mangala gowri pooja but also pooja, vrithaa, dhana pathathi (Madwa sambradaya) I presume that you belong to Madwa commuinity? which contain all poojas and vrithas dhanas etc to be perfromed by the madwas. The author of the book is Tmt Padmini Narasimhan. If you dont know Tamil, I will see and inform you whether you can get it in English in a couple of days.

Thank you for the response. since you wanted to know about managala gowri pooja in maharashtrian way, I asked. My mother tongue also marathi but no as pure as in pune. But I belong to Madwa community.

You cannot do pooja or any vrath if you have periods, Please start from next week..

Atleast if you complete 3 days, may be from 4th day you can do, but some people prefer after 5days.,
