    hi IL's

I'm continuing my diet plan for past 3 months & i would like to have vegetable salad bowl for my dinner, i tried many types of salad with onion, tomatoes, carrots ,beetroots & sprouts too, but i cannot continue any of them for not more than 2 consecutive days, can anyone suggest more types of vegetable salads which make my dinner to continue with the same.

    Hi there,

    Try corn salads.
    Corn kernels - 1 cups
Avacado - 1/2 (just slice them. They are messey, but don't worry)
    Cilantro leaves
    Lemon juice
    Finely Chopped onions
    Finely Chopped tomatos
    Green chillies
    Salt to taste

Mix well & salad is ready. Avacado will give a nice binding texture to the salad, so you can also make chappathi, pita wraps & tortillos filling out of this salad.

Try this & let me know.

    Bye for now

I used to make a raw salad with a base of alfalfa sprouts, then on top grated carrots, finely sliced cabbage, then other salad veg on top like diced cucumber or tomato pieces. You can layer whatever you have and top with salad dressing.

I have a very simple formula:
handful of greens, cut into strips (e.g. spinach)
1 fruit cut into small slices
1 tbsp dried fruit of choice (e.g. raisins or cranberries)
1 tbsp dried nuts (e.g. almonds)

    dressing:
    olive oil 1/2 tbsp
    salt
    pepper
    lime juice
    crushed garlic
    honey orsugar 1tsp

whisk together dressing and main ingredients. Top it off with something savoury like croutons. I have also tried sev and it tastes like bhel.
