Making Oats Porridge

    hi ladies,

    please tell me if i can give oats to my 7 month old son.

    can we dry roast the quaker quick cooking oats,n powder it and use like kanji powder?correct me if am wrong.

    n do tell me if we can use quick cooking oats or not?
    do we need to pressure cook the oats.
    please give ur oats recipes.sorry too any questions.

    Hi Fiza

    I am giving oats to my 7mo old. I do not pressure cook it. I just cook oats (white oats and NOT Instant cooking ones) in water for 5-10 min and add some fruits to it. Simmer for few more minutes and blend in mixer. Give that puree to the baby.
