Even before it could hit the screens in Tamil, attempts are apparently on to remake Simbu's 'Vaalu' in Kannada. If sources are to be believed, Sandalwood star Yash would play the lead in the remake."Yash came to know about the storyline of 'Vaalu' and he was thoroughly impressed by it. He might start shooting for its Kannada version soon," sources in Bengaluru said.Meanwhile, 'Vaalu' is expected to see the light of the day in March. "The shoot is almost over and some post-production works are pending. They would be completed very soon," Kollywood sources said.

 

Sudeep has denied reports in few sections of the media, which claimed that he would kiss yesteryear top heroine Sridevi for a particular scene in Vijay's upcoming venture 'Puli'.The 'Naan Ee' actor has said that there would be no such scene in 'Puli' and wondered how such a rumour popped up. He also expressed happiness about working with Sridevi and Vijay.Directed by Chimbudevan, 'Puli' has two heroines- Shruthi Haasan and Hansika. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music and the shoot is taking place on East Coast Road and in Talakonam.

 

Suriya who's awaiting his 'Masss' under Venkat Prabhu's direction has begun with his next. Amala Paul is playing the female lead in the movie. The film titled 'Haiku' is being directed by Pandiraj and will be produced under Suriya's own banner 2D Entertainment. 'Haiku' will be his second own production after the Malayalam remake of 'How Old Are You' starring his wife Jyothika.IndiaGlitz has just received word that the film has commenced shoot and is currently being shot at Chennai. The film will see Suriya and Amala Paul reportedly play a couple

Kanchana was called Muni 2.His next upcoming movie was earlier named as Muni 3 - Ganga but was renamed as Kanchana 2. Many movies have followed the trend of horror + humour following the success of Kanchana but Lawrence has something special to offer in his movie, so Kanchana 2 is one of the most expected movies of the year.Tapsee is playing the lead and the actress says her character exhausted her and demanded a lot from her to perform. Kovai Sarala and Devadarshini will also be seen in Kanchana 2. Produced by Bellamkonda Suresh, with music from Leon James and cinematography from Rajavel Olhiveeran, Kanchana 2 will be distributed by Sun Pictures.The latest news is that Lawrence will be haunted by four different women ghosts of age 15, 25, 40 and 60. Last fall, we saw Katrina Kaif going all out to get her fittings right for her very own wax statue at Madame Tussaud's, London. The official handle of Madame Tussauds had tweeted the news saying, "Katrina has collaborated closely with our sculptors and artists to decide a dancing pose and outfit for the figure, having given a sitting in Mumbai where all the measurements required to create an accurate likeness were gathered. A team of 20 artists will work on the figure, which will cost £150,000 to produce, and completion is scheduled for Spring 2015 when it is hoped Katrina will unveil the figure herself here at our London attraction."Now it seems that Katrina's wait has ended. The wax statue is all ready to be revealed in mid-March. Katrina is apparently, as excited as us, and is trying to zero in on the perfect look to sport at the big launch.

 

Sagaptham, the debut vehicle of Captain Vijayakanth’s son Shanmuga Pandian had its audio release recently and the music is scored by Karthik Raja. The film directed by Surendran and produced by L. K. Sudhish features Neha Hinge and Shubra Aiyappa as the lady leads. It was recently censored with a U certificate. The latest from the film front is that it will hit the screens on April 2[SUP]nd[/SUP]. Incidentally, Kamal’s Uttama Villain and Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Nannbenda are also eyeing the same date.
