Having entertained us for decades, now comic actor Vivek is setting his foot in Bollywood too. It is worth mentioning that the actor has already featured in a Malayalam and Kannada movie, each. Vivek has been roped in by Muktha Sunder for the film 'Paisa Ho Paisa', starring Dhruv Bhandari, Madalasa Shah, Kanishka Soni and Antony, apart from our dear comedy king Vivek. The film is a rom-com, which runs close to two hours on reel.'Paisa Ho Paisa' is expected on the big screens by mid March. Meanwhile, Vivek is also looking forward to the release of 'Vai Raja Vai' in Tamil, apart from half a dozen others in the making

 

Hansika had a very successful 2014 as quite a few of her films such as Maan Karate and Aranmanai had a good run at the box office. After non-stop shoots over the past 8 months or so, she is currently on a holiday in Europe. She is expected to be back to the country in 3 to 4 more days' time.
After she is back, she would be spending some time with the kids that she has adopted. She is also expected to take them on a little vacation to Lonavala, once their exams are done.

Not just this, Hansika also has plans to build an old age home in the outskirts of Mumbai in Wada spread over 1.25 acres, where homeless senior citizens and mentally challenged individuals roaming the streets, would be rehabilitated and given the best care.

"Through such initiatives, I hope that at least a few more take up such activities and help people who are in need. God willing, I am fortunate to be in a position to help out people and I am sharing this not for any publicity but to just increase the awareness and spread the word on such noble causes. When street dogs can be taken care of, such human beings also deserve some attention."

On the film front, Hansika has almost wrapped work on Vaalu and Romeo Juliet, with just the songs and some minor patch remaining. She also has the biggie Puli and Udhayanidhi's Idhayam Murali in hand, and is in talks for many more projects.

 

They just got engaged I think... not married

 

After Tabu, Shriya Saran has been roped in for the remake of Malayalam movie ‘Drishyam’. The movie features Ajay Devgn in the lead role. According to Times of India, Shriya will play Ajay’s wife in the movie. Producer Kumar Mangat said, “Yes, we are happy to have Shriya on board. She fits the role perfectly.”The movie directed by Nishikant Kamat will be shot in Goa and Hyderabad. It will feature Tabu as a cop. The original film featured Mohanlal and Meena in lead roles. It is about a man’s struggle to save his family from the law.

 

For his first sci-fi film '24', it seems Suriya is ready to work without any break. Shooting is expected to commence in Mumbai in April, and from then on, it would go on in full swing as plans are on to release the flick for Deepavali."A grand set will come up at a studio in Mumbai and major portions of the movie will be shot there. Certain scenes will be canned in Chennai too," sources in the know say.Directed by Vikram Kumar of 'Yaavarum Nalam' and 'Alai' fame, the film has music by Oscar-Grammy winner A R Rahman. Produced by Suriya himself, it is tipped to provide a different experience to the audience. Suriya is currently busy with 'Masss' directed by Venkat Prabhu.

 

The 'hero' in Sundar C took a backseat after he started wielding the megaphone again and helmed films like 'Kalakalappu', 'Madha Gaja Raja', 'Theeya Velai Seyyanum Kumaru', 'Aranmanai' and 'Aambala'.Even in 'Aranmanai' in which he acted besides calling the shots, Sundar's part was more like a character role, however an extended one. And now, he is back to play the lead role again.According to sources, Sundar will play the protagonist in the Tamil remake of Malayalam hit 'Vellimoonga'. The plot is about a politician in his early 40s who scales heights by misusing power. He also falls for a young girl.
