[h=1]Ajith to sign one more for Vishnuvardhan?[/h]

The latest buzz in the Kollywood circle is, Vishnuvardhan will be directing Ajith for the third time and the movie will start once Ajith completes ‘Siruthai’ Siva’s project. The remake of ‘Billa’ was well received for its stylish making and crisp presentation. After ‘Billa’ Ajith and Vishnuvardhan teamed up one more blockbuster, ‘Arrambam’. It would be interesting to see what kind of story would Vishnu pen down for Ajith for the third time.

Vishnuvardhan is currently busy with Arya – Kreshna starrer ‘Yatchan’ where Arya will be seen as the head of Ajith fan club in a scene. The movie has Deepa Sannidhi and Swathi Reddy in the female lead roles and Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring the music

 

Karthi is all set to star in a bi-lingual multi starrer where he will be sharing the screen with Telugu Superstar, Nagarjuna in his next. The movie will be directed by Vamsi Paidipally for PVP Cinemas. The latest news from this yet to titled project is, the makers have zeroed on Shurti Hassan to play the female lead.

Initially, it was Tamanna’s name doing the rounds and we are not sure whether Shruti Hasaan has been added to the cast or she has replaced the ‘Paiyaa’ girl. Shruti Hassan was seen in Vamsi’s ‘Yevadu’ which released earlier this year and expected to take part in the film after completing the first schedule for ‘Vijay 58’.

 

Rajni’s ‘Lingaa’ got a clean U from the CBFC and the movie’s run time is said to be close to 3 hours. Well, when it comes to run time for Rajini starrers, fans do not usually complain as they want to see their icon performing stunts, dance, and utter punch dialogues even for the whole day.

Up next, the team ‘Lingaa’ is working on sending the movie to TN review committee to get tax exemption and they are pretty confident of earning one because of the content in the story and the U certificate will add more weightage to it.

‘Lingaa’ is targeting a Dec 12 release, which is Rajni’s birthday.

 

Ridley Scott, the proud holder of an Oscar is well known for making grand and ethereal movies. Exodus: Gods and Kings is the much highly spoken of movie he is making at the moment. This movie is based on a few events from the Bible and stars Christian Bale, Joel Edgerton, Aaron Paul, Sigourney Weaver and Ben Kingsley.

"In terms of the metaphorical aspects, yes [this is the biggest project I’ve done]. Even budgetarily it’s probably the biggest, yeah. But I didn’t approach it as my biggest. I never do that. I always approach it from the point of view of the characters, of the story. One of the things that has come off really well is the reality of the characters. You wouldn’t call it an effects film even though in many ways a lot of what was needed is extraordinary. There were things I couldn’t build. But in today’s world the effects are so good that it looks real, effectively," said Scott.

Exodus: Gods and Kings will be released in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam on the 5th of December 2014.

It seems that Vijay has fallen in love with his new vehicle, Harley Davidson as he is commuting with his new toy to reach the shooting spot. The shooting for Vijay’s untitled flick is taking place at Adityaram Studios and Vijay stays few kms away from the studio. The pictures were taken through a mobile and Vijay’s face is not clear and the photo shows that he is not wearing a helmet. Will Thala advice Thalapathy to wear the helmet before hitting the roads?

 

[h=1]Mysskin lashes out at critics[/h]



In a recent book release function, director Mysskin questioned the behavior of critics and said that the independent critics got nothing else than spewing abuses on social networking sites for movies. He added that Tamil cinema’s growth would be pretty slow in terms of quality and he is trying his best to create quality products.

Mysskin questioned why people are so concerned about plagiarism nowadays and raised questions on ‘Nayagan’s originality by indirectly mentioning it was inspired from ‘Godfather’. The ‘Nandalala’ director went on to register that the Tamil cinema is still not able to come out of 6 songs strategy, and nobody has questioned that for all these years and why critics behave indifferently for his movies.

We hope, Mysskin remembers that his first movie ‘Chithiram Pesudhadi’ got the attention after the positive reviews from all the corners and the same reviewers had bashed his shabby works too. After the ‘Mugamoodi’ debacle, Mysskin had redeemed himself big time with ‘Onayum Aattukuttiyum’ and he is currently busy with the post production of ‘Pisasu’.

 

[h=1]The surprise factor in Karthi's 'Kashmora'[/h]


It is raining dual roles in K-town and the latest one to join in the club is, Karthi. The ‘Madras’ actor is done with ‘Komban’ and will be shifting his focus towards the untitled bi-lingual with Nagarjuna and ‘Kashmora’.

Karthi will be playing dual roles in ‘Kashmora’ after ‘Siruthai’ and a little birdie reveals that the movie is based on black magic and the meaning of ‘Kashmora’ will be revealed in the movie. The film will be directed by Gokul, who got ‘Rowthiram’ and ‘IDHABA’ to his credit. Nayanthara is paired opposite to Karthi while Santosh Narayan will be scorning the music.

 

Being the producer of Orange Mittai, Vijay Sethupathi is acting as a 55 year old man in the same film. Ar****a is the lead pair for this film directed by Bijou Vishvanath. He has directed successful films in English, Hindi, Malayalam, Spanish and Japanese torange mittai will be his debut film in Kollywood. Justin Prabakaran is the composer for this film and the trailer will be out on the 27th of November.

Firstly, Vijay Sethupathi was to produce a film named Sangu Devan, but opted out of the project due to some reasons and has taken up Orange Mittai now. Sources say that the issue has not been revealed yet.

 

[h=1]Impressive list of comedians joins 'Vijay 58'[/h]




‘Vijay 58’ is getting bigger day by day and the latest news is Satyan, Thambi Ramiah, Robo Shankar, and Imman Annachi have been roped in to take care of comic elements. A few days ago, the makers have signed Hollywood stunt choreographer Sang Li, and Dilip Subbarayan to design a couple of action episodes.

Sources claim that Chimbudevan has called the shots for a massive song and will be picturizing the talkie portions soon. The first schedule is said to be 45 days long and the movie is expected to release for the 2015 Summer.

 

Vijay has revealed that Kenny (Vikram) is his best friend at the 'Kappal' audio launch. Director Shankar is distributing a movie after 4 years and he had invited Vijay, Vikram, and Rahman to grace the audio launch of 'Kappal'.

While speaking at the event, Vijay had mentioned that, “if anyone asks me who’s my best friend in the industry, I would immediately say that it is Kenny (Vikram). We have come a long way and our friendship is beyond professional levels as Vikram visits my family often and I’m happy to share the stage with him after a long time.”
