Sridhar,

Love is a miracle in itself. It makes the heart extremely sensitive. And that is love’s worst weakness as well as its greatest strength. In that kind of sensitivity even a small pleasure like touching the beloved gives utmost pleasure.

Unfortunately by the same token when such a sensitive heart is hurt, the pain is way too much to bear.
Yes,Sridhar,here I agree with you.I think all of us go through or have gone through this phase sometime or other in our livs.Lesser mortals like me have not realised the impact,you have put it across so nicely.

Dear Mythili,

those were the lines I loved to write. A writer is thrilled when his reader picks up those lines which he enjoyed writing. Thanks for giving that thrill to me.

And it is a very nice and warm feeling to see you here after a long time. Hope everything is fine at your end.

And by the way, if you reserve the word lesser mortal for yourself, people like me would have to go in search of words appropriate to our station. I searched the dictionary. There is nothing beneath the word lesser mortals. Let the likes of me take the word. The word belongs to us. You will have to choose some thing else at a much higher level.

Dear sridhar,
I liked that fiery spirit of Yamini.Reminds me of Bharathi's words,
"நிமிர்ந்த நன்னடையும் நேர் கொண்ட பார்வையும் நிலத்தில் யார்க்கும் அஞ்சாத நெறிகளும்
திமிர்ந்த ஞானசெருக்கும் இருப்பதால் செம்மை மாதர் திறம்புவதில்லையாம்" .

Dear Mythili,
A very apt quote from Bharathi. I used several hundred words to describe Yamini's spirit. You did it in two lines from Bharathi. Great work.

My Dear Uncle,

You made me hungry by the keerai vadai and halwa.

What kind of love is this, Uncle??

And I am very much excited to read the pasuram of Thirumazhisai azhwar.
I might have read those lines many times when i was in School.

Reading it again today makes me feel excited so much uncle.
It gives me a lot of energy.
