    Hi Frnz...

    I m trying to embriod Lord Ganesha Picture in a fabric using basic stiches

    I didnt complete it yet....Request you to give me some suggestions and ideas to complete it....

    Beautiful work, Revathi, you can use satin stitch to complete the shank and use chain stitch or stem stitch to do the line work in tusk, eyes.

    Hi Revathi, your Ganesha is coming out quite well.
    For the pupil, you can use french knot, for the tusk you can used satin stitch, and for the eye outline you can use fine stem stich and on the shanku where those pointed lines go can probably use fine herringbone or cross stitch.
    This is if you want all the embroidery stitches on your Ganesha !!
    Please complete and let us see your final work as well !!

    Actually i din buy it from any shop.... its jus a thick cloth in which i drew the design and embroiding :)
