Looking for best internet connection via USB dongle for laptop/desktops

    hi all ,

    Could anyone suggest a good USB dongle for internet connection for laptop/desktop having good coverage in south indian states Karnataka and Kerala with high speed.Also no roaming charge while travelling across the states.

    Currently I am using wired broadband and its got a good speed but I would like to buy a usb dongle for my laptop for accessing internet while travelling across places in Kerala and karnataka.I use mainly for browsing and watching some videos in youtube.
    Is there any good provider without roaming charges and good coverage and good speed.I checked with Airtel ,Reliance,BSNL, but in all its coverage is limited as only in cities range is there and not inside rural areas ..Even then which provider is best ..

    Kindly help me on this ....

    I used a Reliance dongle in Trivandrum and Varkala. Had good speed and connection.
    Currently using a Vodafone 2G dongle in TRM. Connection and speed is erratic but still allowing work to be done.. hope that helps

    Reliance and Tata Photon... both work remarkably well in cities.. but suck big time once you are out of a metro... Photon is slightly better

    BSNL will be good only when tower is in 300-400meters range. Price wise BSNL is good..

    My first preference is Tata Photon wrto Speed n Price
    Second Pref is Reliance and third Pref is AIRTEL..AIRTEL is 10% higher price n speed is also good.

    i think EVDO is only from BSNL..u can correct me. Its around 2.4MBPS speed..
