Yet another article which I received through the Forward Message from a friend...which I want to share it with you all here. Excuse me friends, if its an old news. After losing his parents, this 3 year old orangutan was so depressed he wouldn't eat and didn't respond to any medical treatments. The veterinarians thought he would surely die of sadness. Meanwhile, the zoo keepers found an old sick dog on the grounds in the park at the zoo where the orangutan lived and took the dog to the animal treatment center. The dog arrived at the same time, when the orangutan was being treated there. The 2 lost souls met and have been inseparable ever since . The orangutan found a new reason to live and each always tries his best to be a good companion to his new found friend. They are together 24 hours a day in all their activities. They live in Northern California where swimming is their favorite past time, although Roscoe (the orangutan) is a little afraid of the water and needs his friend's help to swim. Together they have discovered the joy and laughter in life and the value of friendship. They have found more than a friendly shoulder to lean on. The expression in the doggie's face in the last pic, says it all. Cute isn't it !!
Hello jayanaresh, There seem to be some problem when I first put those pics. Now its okay I guess. Glad you liked it. Bye

Hi Saraswathi This is another clear sign..... that living beings are bonded to love and care, lovely pictures. Nice of you having posted this, reminding all of us so much of good values in life. :thumbsup
Saraswathi, Nice news you had shared here..which shows, true friendship, wherever in the world, either in the animal world or ours, sure to long live! :thumbsup I can see the pictures...cute as ever! sriniketan
Hi Saras, What a soul stirring combination ! An Orangutan and a Doggie ... companions in bliss . Surely, one gets convinced about previous births and karmas. They must have had some kinship in some other form in their last birth. Just make one misty eyed and wish that all humans too could share such feelings of devotion and loyalty and at best if all races and creeds could live in peaceful harmony like these two lucky ones from the Animal Kingdom. Loved to gaze at their eyes ....The doggie looks like he has found heaven on earth and the Orang looks so motherly and comforting hugging his companion.....assuring the canine that " As long as I'm with you there is nothing to fear"!
