Long Blouses for Sarees....help!!!

    Hi Ladies,

    A cousin's wedding is coming up this month end. For the ring ceremony, I am wearing a long straight cut kurta which I am happy with.

    Now for the wedding reception! I have a very pretty gold tissue saree. But the blouse does not fit me any more. I would love to make the saree look a bit more stylish than the traditional drape. So, I am thinking, is it fine to wear a long blouse with three-fourth sleeves. I do not know what these blouses are actually called, but they are long upto the waist maybe with small slits on the sides.

    If anyone has any idea, can you please post pictures so that I can show it to the tailor and get it stitched?

    You could get the sleeves stitched in a semi transparent material like net or chiffon.
