She: Ma, lets play ‘teacher’ game. I am a teacher. You are a student. Got it ?
Me: Of course dear.
She: What is this..? what is that..? (pointing out some of the letters she wrote and asked me the questions..As a obedient student, answered them all)
Me: Miss, I have a doubt. What is the spelling for ‘Apple’?
Ma: Ma, you don’t understand the game. Miss only needs to ask the questions (Blame our poor education system), students need to give answers only..?Understand?
Me: But miss, where we can clarify our doubts? It is absolutely right to ask our doubts to our teacher. So, please tell me the answer miss.

While decluttering the living room which consists full of toys,books..Felt like our house has no shelves, cupboards at all.. Everything scattered on the floor…

Me: Baby, see, amma doing all the works. Cleaning, washing, cooking, mopping everything. I have two hands only. But I have to do all the work on my own. You and appa never help me in anything…(And someother blah blahs..)
After listening to everything, her comment was,

She: But you are a ‘MOM’ ma…(fly away):bonk
DH: kkmm(what else, chuckling)tsk

She:I am a big girl ma, this doesn’t suit me..

Me: Take this juice..
She: I am a big girl ma, I know what to drink…I will order that juice..

Me: Go and brush your teeth..
She:I know ma, am a big girl. You don’t need to tell it everyday.

Me: Look at your working table. It is very messy. Organize it.
She:I am a 4yr old girl. How can I do all these tasks all alone..? Please help me ma.



When I was busy talking with DH, She came in.

She: Ma, there are some good habits and good manners in this world. The first thing is we have to respect our elders. You told it right. But you never give respect to our Appa. You have to tell,’saringappa,illaingappa’(tamil version of giving respect to elders).Okey??
Me: But I and appa are the 'bestest' friends da..Thats why…
She:The other day you told that am your best friend. So don’t I need to give respect to you..
Me: (little jerk, but managing(samalifying))Now you’re too small right. Once you become a big girl, you can even call me by my name.:tongue
She: Okey.remember it. I will call you by your name once I become a very big girl….:yes:

 

100% true..Eventhough very concious, I miss sometimes :rant
