Living Alone In A City With No Friends

    I am wondering if there are any people with experience living in a u.s city suburb where they had/have no friends or family. How did you cope on the weekends? Can someone handle it for 6months at a stretch ?

    Yes, can do so for months and years at a stretch because we can definitely find friends or colleagues and make friends wherever we go. I have made friends like that and sure, will find if we aren't rigid person and willing to befriend people of various countries and cultures.
