Lipstick shades for Younger women?

Depends on your complexion. I would suggest nudes, pinks, or subdued corals if you are fair or slightly darker shades of the same (browns, darker pinks, or less subdued corals) if you are darker. I like mauve, and pinkish taupe (but I am old-40) and have never cared for reds or brights. Reds look orange on me, and brights look clownish to me.
Vasanti has some good colors, and is available on Amazon. A department store (Macy's, Dillard's) makeup counter can make some suggestions (the Origins ladies are generally good, but stay away from the young clerks, they don't know what they are doing many times).

 

Giordani Gold Ruby Lipstick. One of its shades is Gold Dust and it's perfect as I prefer light shade lipsticks only.

I am also wheatish skin, I have tried many colours of lipsticks from Pale to Dark red.. all in the drugstore range..
the most suited and elegant lipstick was Revlon's cocoa sheer ..creme..
Its a more natural shade, which brightens up your face and not fades out..

If you are a warm/yellowish toned person choose colors of coral..
if cool toned person try nude/mauve shades..
Creamy lipsticks go well with all outfits, as matte ones will dry out your lips and glossy ones cannot be used always..
Colorbar creme range lipsticks are also used by many Indians..
And if you have pigmented lips, dont ever go for nude ones that are of less coverage..
It will show up as uneven color..

 

I use Maybelline blushing brunette and Streetwear peachy sizzle for subtle colors, you can try them as they are not bright and quite soft.
