Last september my periappa has passed away..after one month we went to temple and lighten the motcha lamp in temple..Then My mom usually goes to temple everyday and light lamps in temple..Some said to my mom tat u can go to temple but u should not light lamps in temple before one year bcoz of death in our family...Is it so??
Dear snowyhats, Yes it's true in most of the south Indian families they do follow this....! Once the 1st year / 11th month ritual is done (Tarpan) then only we usually visit temples....! ----------------- Love is the most beautiful thing to Happen, Hardest thing to Earn & Painful to lose...!
