Ligament Tear in the ankle

    I had an accident three weeks back and I have two hairline fractures and three ligament tears in the right ankle. I am on a cast now and doc has advised 6 weeks bed rest.
    If anyone has any suggestion or advise on the best way for healing and recovering from this kind of injury, please let me know.

    Teju,

    I didn't fall anywhere but don't know I too have the same problem in my left ankle, went for physio. As per Doctor's advice take rest then try physio if it is needed.

    i had one two years back..listen to your doctor, take proper rest, (i could not) and also continue the exercises your physio gives...

    U can follow up with physiotherpist. Just follow the exercises it will help u lot to get well soon.
