I saw a wedding mehindi in the arms of a child of indian immigrants to USA. You can easily guess where they live !!

Designs of mango, peacock, elephants, lotus flowers have given way to the local motifs of the new country. The Sanfrancisco Golden Gate bridge is something I had not seen before. I am sure the NY'ers are doing the Brooklyn Bridge. :astonished:
    A nice wedding !!

Have you adapted any foreign motifs in your life abroad ?
I know that we have had Christmas trees in our house every winter. Early drawings of the children depicting home, would often have a green-mess of scribbles with a yellow star on top next to the stick figures of people.
