Punning ! Hi Tamil Magazines usually run contests for things like this. Off hand I can remember one prize winning entry, i think in Vikatan: "Thanjavur mappillai pidicchirukka enru kettal, thalai aattinaal aval " Readers Digest also used to have a page of such word games. Example": " I wanted to be an electrician, but the course fee was shocking. " There are also websites that have such word games. vidyasarada
Ho nice vidhyasaradha.....I come to know about this game only in "katrathum petrathum " book written by Sujathaa...
I didn't understand... Hi Nalini, Am afraid, I didn't understand the concept behind this word magic game. Can you explain to me a bit in detail and with more examples ? Love, Preethi
hii preethi:wave Let me explain you clearly.... Let me consider the same example for you to understand... Time consist of past , present and future said Tom tensely... In the above sentence ,Tense is a Grammar word which represents present tense ,past tense and future tense Even time represent past(my olden days),present(i am doing a work),and future(i will be posting puzzles)..... Even though we have two seperate meanings we relate those things and form a sentence with a double meaning..(that is the special in this word game) if you know tamil here is one more eg: "Neeti muzhlakadhae" endraan murugan surukkamaaga(long sentence in small approach) "vadai suvayagaa irundhadhu" endraan murugan medhuvaaga(medhu vadai) I think so you understood!!!(if not please pardon me!!!)
