Life was always rough, especially with MIL, FIL, BIL, SIL and even DIL (for those MILs on IL)

    COVID is not helping.

I learned to thank God for today, i.e. nothing untowards happened, just the same ho hum of routine.

And I ask God for tomorrow, the same ho hum of routine.

    Because tomorrow is never promised.

Can you imagine the pain of others?

I was googling a childhood friend and found that she has been missing since last year.

She is not young, white pretty blond from rich family so her case did not get media coverage.

God knows where she is. Did she leave on her own? Was she snatched by thugs in a van who did God-knows-what to her?

Then this book I read, Neopolitan Novels, one of the character's 4-year old daughter goes missing and she is never found, even after 30 yyars. The book portrays the pain so accurately I could not sleep for several nights.

Think about when you send loved ones to errands. What is the guarentee they will come home alive, in one piece?

Can you imagine any pain worse than not knowing where your loved one is? You cannot live in peace and you cannot die in peace.

I hope this puts things in perspective.
