Leap Frog learning DVDs

I havent seen it or used it Gowri. From the website it sounds ok but I dont think a 6 mnth old would use anything but the music part. If the toy lasts until toddlerhood it might be useful to teach some things. I'm not all that convinced but of course thats purely my opinion.

Before we land India, thought could buy some stuff (learning). Planning to gift that only on her 2nd birthday only. Now will surf for something better ! Getting confused while surfing ... at times tempted!

I think what you are saying is pretty common. DS is also following his own ways of reading. I introduced Tamil first, he chose to learn English alphabets first, then came Tamil and now numbers. He is obsessed just he way you describe. She is doing good, I would think. Just following a pattern that is not commonly followed, that's all.

my dd doesnot Know alphabet,numbers, birds name...etc.she only speak in hindi&tamil few words.she listen rhymes whenever i put in pc..is it useful for her..where can i get this DVD?

If you want in English rhymes.Do try in landmark for rhymes DVD. You will get Pebbles, Rhymes by Preeti Sagar, etc..

Also check youtube .. .many rhymes(even pebbles) with lyrics are available with very good clarity.

First we started with LETTER FACTORY. Now my DD is watching
WORD FACTORY. They are really good.
