    Hi All ILs

    I want to inform you all about Lakshagalaarchana - Annamacharya Geetalu (7 songs) was conducted in Hyderabad on May 10, 2009 at Parade Grounds.

    Its originally organised by Mr.K.Anand from Silicon Andhra and a group of people including his wife. Actually they started this process since Dec., 2008 onwards.
    All telugu people got a rear award like 'GINNIS BOOK OF WORLD RECORD' for singing in one tone. Actually they r expecting one lakh people, but that particular day the present strength is 1.60 lakh people.

    I am very glad to inform you all that I am also one of the participant in that Lakshagala.

    It is conducted on the eve of 601th birthday of of Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya, the first telugu vaggeyakarudu, the Silicon Andhra, A.P. Cultural vibhagh and also Tirumala Thirupati Devasthanam

    Mr. Remand Marshal, the Ginnis Book authorised representative, has expressed his happiness for the occasion and handed over the award to Mr.Rosaiah, A.P.Minister. he has also informed that 72 years back, i.e. 2nd August, 1937, in Poland, Germany, 60000 people sang their National Anthem and got Ginnis Record. Now, YOU ALL, telugu people overcome that record by 1 lakh people. Really its a great moment.

    Sri Mangalampalli Balamuralikrishna, Film Director, Sri Raghavendra Rao, Akkineni Nagarjuna N Amala, Mr. Bhargavi, Ms.Shobharaj and TTD EO were present in that programme.

    I hv some pictures but i do not know how to upload.

    While v r practicing, Vartha people came n shooted the program. Those pictures came in 5th May Vartha paper

    This event pictures also came in the news paper on 11th May n i hv preserved them.

    I wil take my sons' help n try to upload them
