KG admission 2015-16

Hi Aksha..
I came to know the kid should complete 3.8 yrs on april 15th..or 4 yrs must me complted b4 aug 1st...I came to know this is the age criteria in all emirates...
Pls if anyone knows more abt this confirm....

Me too sailing on the same boat..looking for my DS admission..I checked in IHS regarding age limit.They said the kid should complete 4 years by 31st July 2015.My kid will complete 4 years by june.U can keep checking in other schools as well.Anybody can give feedback about GEMS private school?I stay in karama,am looking for schools around this area

Same as what Ramya said, monitor the websites of the schools you have chosen for admission. Note though that KG1 and even KG2 admission can be quite difficult in a sense that some schools prioritize siblings of their students.

My suggestion too is that try to choose schools within the emirate, or if not, near the border at least. Us adults get so tired traveling in traffic, what more with barely 4 year old kids? The farther the school, the earlier the pick up and the later the drop off.

DPS sharjah has provided with form for siblings I believe they may give priority to siblings this time though nothing of that sort was mentioned in the mail .. But they have started providing the sibling form to all parents ...Please keep checking their websites many times in the day ... not just once or twice ..keep checking It often they open up suddenly..
Nisha though DPs is known to give preference to north Indians ..surprisingly last year admissions I came across many southindians being selected .I too am one .. So I guess just don't go by the prejudice ..Always remember when it comes to processing their forms its generally first come first basis... and the next step is to prepare your ward for a good interview ..

As per morning call in DPS shj school, Forms are likely to open Very Soon
They are not mentioning the date, So hoping sure within this week might it get open

Keep checking their site and if someone notice pls inform all

online reg. for KG-1(2015-16) is open in "our own english school,sharjah".
The age limit is 4 yrs by 31st July 2015. i think so ur kid is eligible to take admission in coming academic yr.
