    While i was learning embroidary, double colours are not allowed for Kasthuiwork. But here it does looks very elegant.

    Dear Ramvino ,Ihave attended basic course in kasuthi emb.we had to practice on the matte cloth the four types of stiches.Ilove kasuthi emb.very much.by practise you can exel inthis emb.

    dear Viji krishnan,you can use as many colloursyou like to use.there is no problem .look in geometrical designs you can use 4 colurs.butthat should be in order.since we are taking single strana thread always better to have dark colour threads. red orange dark green yellow ,cream [on dark colur fabric]blackcolur threads are generally used.
