    Swaran, lovely padi kolams. here is my share of padi kolam photos which i have with me ready in hand. As i don't have much space in the appartment life, i restrict myself to small ones. Wish you a great time and all the best.:)

    Hi all,

    Kanya kolam interests me a lot. Actually I am in the attempt of drawing kolams in a note book. Will try to scan and post it.

    The inspiration was the kolams at Nellaiyappar temple, Thirunelveli. If you ever happen to go there take a notebook and pencil so that you can copy it. I missed doing it.

    Usha mami, thank you. As its a rented house, the red colour of the kaavi will cause stain in the floor unless washed well with soap. You know how difficult it will be in apprtment life. As you said, kavi border will enhance the beauty of traditional padikolams. But i am restricting myself to this plain work. :)
