It is very short and fine, but I will have a lot of it. I spend a lot of my time exercising. I can turn my head and curl my fingers and toes and stretch my arms and legs. I am becoming quite good at it too. Month Five You went to the doctor today. Mommy, he lied to you. He said that I'm not a baby. I am a baby Mommy, your baby. I think and feel. Mommy, what's abortion? Month Six I can hear that doctor again. I don't like him. He seems cold and heartless. Something is intruding in my home. The doctor called it a needle. Mommy, what is it? It burns! Please make him stop! I can't get away from it! Mommy! HELP me! Month Seven Mommy, I am okay. I am in Jesus's arms. He is holding me. He told me about abortion. Why didn't you want me Mommy?
Im sure no mother would want to hear this...I only pray to God to bless all those yearning for this gift instead of giving it to those heartless mothers who dare to kill the little one...
Heartless mother - That word is too judgemental Ramya. Who knows why certain people take certain decisions? If all our decisions were to be judged as harsh as this - none of us would be able to function independently anymore.
Could we actually change the title thread to put in a warning note like "Not for the faint-hearted" or something like that? I am 17 weeks pregnant and found this poem very disturbing. As Vidhkarthik mentioned, there are so many reasons why someone would take a decision like that. I feel the poem is very perverse and not in very good taste.
These are the types of poems floating around which is fuelling the abortion vs anti-abortion debate in US. Please don't fall for it. Each one is entitled to their views. Many women want to have children, while similarly many don't. There might be hundred different reasons for people to make a choice, and who are we to judge them?

It is pretty safe to say this thread is doomed from the start. And to all the pro life ( or anti abortion) crowd. Please respect people's choices as you do not fully know the personal circumstances of each individual who chooses to have an abortion and you are not in their shoes.
Please let us stop this judgmental nature. If you are anti-abortion so be it. I don't see any need to write sentimental poems to announce your stand and denounce the opposition completely. It would really hurt a lot of other moms who may have been forced to take this decision due to their circumstances. There may be several tough circumstances that might force a woman to take that course of action for example: a woman who gets pregnant because of rape or a woman is recommended abortion because her child had some serious birth defects so on and so forth. One of my close friends had to abort twice because the fetus had severe congenital defects. She was trying for a child for a really long time and it was such a heart ache for her. Regards, Kavya.
to the original poster, when you said for those who does this, what do you mean? is this post for those who do abortions?? then maybe you should have been explicit in your thread title so that other senstitive people doesnt ahve to read this! Also maybe this section of marriage and spouse is not the right place, maybe the childcare section if you were so keen on posting this! Please dont be so judgemental! i dont think you can have a sweeping generalisation about people in general about anything. there could be many reasons why people make certain life altering decisions. So unless you know them, please resist from blaming them!! its a request. It makes you life much easier if you reduce the hate. Good luck.
