hi all, i went to the doc in the evening and as expected she suggested me genetic sonogram. she asked me to go the next day. i was hell scared and couldn't sleep the whole night. early morning i left for fetal medical centre with my fil. thanks for your prayers. all the time we were just praying. when the doc saw my baby, she was very happy and said nothing to worry and no need of further diagnosis. sometimes we get false positives and ive also seen so many replies in other forums where they got just the same reading like mine and everything was normal after the scan. but the scan went on very well. i went to motherhood hospital bangalore. the doc name is anitha shetti and she was a gem. she showed me each n everything of my baby so well. she showed me the hands, legs, face, spine, heart, kidneys, nose bone and everything and said nothing wrong and everything looks ok. she said these days technology has improved so much that we are very sure about a healthy baby and nothing to worry. if something is wrong then they would find out as soon as they start the scanning. so now i am relieved and celebrated after coming home. god is really with me. thank u all.

haha.......thanks dear. the doc also show me the baby's hands and say look baby is saying hi. and she showed me another hand which was folded and can see only his/her thumb finger. she said look baby is giving thumbs up and saying everything is alright. i just got tears in my ears then. felt very happy after the scanning. really shez a very good doc.

Buddies,
Last two days(exactly 20 weeks start) having mild lower abdomen cramp.
But its on n off. Is there anyone on same boat. Still now I have not exp baby movements.
At input for this?
Meeting gynec on Monday.

hi,

when i met my doc, she said generally you will feel the movements from 20weeks. so you may get them any time.

hi all,
anyone took GTT in second trimester and what are the values and if any specific diet you are taking ?
20 weeks of GTT test report came.
fasting: 83
1 hr post: 189
2 hr post: 174

before putting on any medication doctor asked to do HbA1C test after a week.
as of now no sweets, no bakery items, no ice creams.

any inputs for my cond?

no my anamoly scan scheduled bwn 10 n 20th of this month.cuming to baby much active @ nyts and my trip to bathroom hav increased a lot.
wats ur baby saying have u started to feel the movements now.

Not much movements or to be precise am not able to differentiate ...rarely felt some finger touch kind of feel..
Hope in coming weeks my LO will kick n shows his/her presence
