Kaffir Lime leaves, i've come across is used in Asian restaurants. Is that plant the same as our good ol' Narthangai/Citron? Does anyone know? Have you also got Citron in the US?
yes..it is narthangai elai..and we do use it in south indian cooking..the light green tender leaves are pounded with spices and made into balls for eating with curd rice.. not sure about us..
