Totally I completely second it! For once I do not want to disappoint Decent Guy and want his "Assumptions" to be true!

Why don't u have ur eve coffee at some coffee joint daily...
My sister's mil also does the same thing. When her hubby and she returns home in the same car, the mil asks my sis whether she wants coffee whereas she gives coffee in hand to her son...
My mil evenings are daily a joke...
My mil doesn't drink coffee in the evening... When I offer her snack she will take only 1 biscuit...
My fil will take 12 ... He will eat 2 and give remaining 10 to mil secretly in their bedroom...
Outside she paints a sacrificing picture but inside she gorges...
First when she tells me I am not hungry at all I dint understand...
    But now I know...

Dear OP, u have three choices:

    1. Eat in office and let this go on, and be the ideal DIL! (I don't agree to this ideal behavior coz she will starve u in some other way!)
    2. Take tea from ur DH's cup. Be shameless and have tea and snacks with him.
    3. Be even more daring and get some snacks of ur DH and ur choice from outside on ur way home whenever possible, and eat at home with ur DH and offer to ur MIL & FIL. Don't force them to eat, if they eat it, their choice, if they don't, their choice again.

If you have any other option then u can try that too, but don't let this go on and u better take care of ur health and food. :thumbsup
