    Wax models of Bollywood superstars in Madame Tussauds have drawn huge crowd.Hundreds of people throng the museum to catch a glimpse and click photographs with their favourite celebrities.Over the last few years, the inclusion of wax statues of Bollywood celebrities such as Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan have indicated how Indian films and culture has had an effect on people. The new inclusion to the list of Indian Celebrities is Ms.Kareena Kapoor

    Indians in Madame Tussauds - Amitabh Bachan

    In 2000, Amitabh Bachchan became the first Indian film personality and also the first living Asian to set foot in the Madame Tussauds wax museum.

    Indians in Madame Tussauds - Aishwarya Rai Bachan

    Aishwarya Rai is immortalised as a dancing diva at the NY City Madame Tussauds. This happened in the year 2007, and she became the 3rd Bollywood star, and the first actress from India to be installed at the Tussauds.

    Her second wax model was installed recently.

    The model for the first wax statue was choosen after her movie the Bride and the prejudice and the second wax statue was choosen after the cannes film festival.

    Indians in Madame Tussauds - Salman Khan

    Perhaps the only place where Ash won't avoid Salman would be Madame Tussauds Museum. Initially, Sallu wasn't happy about the idea of his wax figure being placed near ex-lady love, and he refused the offer. But he finally gave a nod owing to his fans requests . Salman even personally chose the clothes for his wax image.

    SRK has two statutes installed at the Madame Tussauds. One at the Los Angeles museum and the other at New York's Times Square museum.

    The latest celebrity to join the list is Mr.Kareena Kapoor. It took four months to create the wax statue, which cost 150,000 pounds

    "It is an honour and a privilege for me to have my own wax figure at Madame Tussauds Blackpool and even more so to launch a global Bollywood exhibition. This is a moment of pride for the Indian cinema," Kareena said in a statement.
