    HI Arpita, We just moved here 2 weeks ago and trying to settle down. The children started school slowly getting used to the place.We are trying to meet people in the area. I went to the dance program by Shobana(padmini's niece) at the balaji temple yesterday and it was very entertaining. So, how are you? I would love to hear from you. Talk to you soon. Raagam

    Hi

    We are shifting from Bay area to Florida next month. My husband has got a project in Masco, Daytona Beach. I see there are some Indian shops and good schools in Lake Mary. We plan to stay in Lake Mary. Please advise whether it is advisable to travel to Daytona Beach for office and about the locality in Lake Mary. My 7 years old daughter is learning Bharathanatyam here and so I would like to continue there. Are there anyone teaching dance? Pls advise.

    Hi Indu,

    I stay in proper Orlando but i got at a client office in corporate park at Lake mary so i visit Often. I believe Daytona is some 39 miles from Lake Mary... so travel should be okay. THe stretch is I -4 and should nto be crowded between Lake mary and Daytona.... I dont know any indians in Lake Mary yet but i could try inquiring if i could... Are you moving to precisely Lake Mary or another city round there?

    I see there are good schools, Indian shops, shopping malls and Indian restaurants in Lake Mary. That is the reason for selecting that place. Are there any good areas near Daytona Beach with good schools and some Indian people?

    i am deepti .we are shifting to florida in sept and we saw some apts nearby.i liked lake mary and we r thinking to take apt there.i have a 7 mnth old son so i was wondering tht are there any indians in lake mary as we liked the area vry much.so i am looking forward to meet u all soon.:)

    Winter Haven FLorida

    Hello Arpita or other ladies from near Winter Haven,FL,

    We are going to visit Winter Haven in february 2012 and wondering how is winter Haven area to raise kids..I got 7 yr old boy and 5 yr old girl...please let me know what schools r good over there or if there is any pgm for gifted kids
    ..and also about indian community..what r good places to rent..so many questions??:)
