I am Brindha presently living in Liverpool street and going to move out to East ham/Barking this week. Looking for rental flats. Not successful till now. Will be here till next June (after that VISA expires) So have to go back to India later next june.

Hi Everyone --

My husband & I have just arrived in Basingstoke (Old Basing specifically) with our 3.5 yr old & 2.5 yr old. I am eager to meet other families like ours who might be interested in playdates or just helping us get integrated into the community here. My husband is from Allahabad in India and I am from Indiana in USA originally. We also have a new baby due to arrive Jan 30. I just wanted to say hello and hope to connect with some of you here if possible. He are a fusion family enjoying eating mostly Indian vegetarian food at home, celebrating festivals and holidays from both of our sides & generally being immersed in Indian and Western ways of life. It is exciting to arrive in UK now to meet new people and learn about life in a new country as our children enter the school years.

I agree , lack of socialisation and gloomy weather are two things that can put u off in Uk.

i am going to be londoner soon..june 1 we will be shifting to london.
i am from kolkata..mom of 3.6yr old princess
its been four years we r in dubai and will shift directly from here.
i was sttled here in dubai with my family but now london is calling...hopefully we will enjoy our stay there too,like we did in dubai
