Iam moving to Halifax which is around 16 miles from Leeds.Hope to make some friends here who live close by.

 

Halifax is nice and quiet but make sure you live in a decent area.Avoid houses near peoples park and closer to council estates.

We (husband , wife and 5 year old daughter) are moving to leeds next month. My husbands work place would be 5-10 mins walk from city centre. Can anyone recommend schools for my girl, what area to live in etc. My husband is open to cycling for abt 8 kms and or train journey of about 30 hrs. what are good residential areas to live. Are there many indian families in leeds?where do most of indians reside?
Any suggestion in the post or as private msg would be highly appreaciated.
