Hi, I'm Bharathi. I'm presently working as a doctor in Yorkshire, and would be moving to Birmingham in August. I live on my own presently.I'm from Bangalore.
I've been a member of this forum for about a year now, and really enjoyed myself.
I would be working in Birmingham Heartlands hospital, would be glad if somebody could recommend nice area and a place to live and commute around this place.

I am Vandana Srivastava, Basically from Lucknow India and here in Birmingham from last 6 months.
as I was working as a software developer before i left India, I am looking for a job here in the same domain.
but it seems market is not very good these days, i am not getting enough calls..
Well I am very happy to be on Indusladies.. it is such a nice place to exchange information.
I am staying at park central area with my husband... does anyone else resides here in park central..
i dnt have any friend or social circle here... plz let me know if some body stay around..

My son has moved to hamstead campus as a student to study there for six months with Birmingham city univ.

Does anyone staying in close by area tell me where do we get indian groceries, some big supermarkets where things are little cheaper. i can pass on the info to him it will be useful.
