    Hi Starshine,

Though I don't live in NY city, this is what I found online.

It is always better to give a call and confirm whether the stores still exist in that address or probably moved/closed.

I am giving you the link...

NYIndia.us New York Indian Grocery Stores

You will see some stores with their address and phone numbers..scroll down and click on more Indian grocery stores...that will lead to information about more stores.

If you see the links to your left...there is a lot of information for NY Indians..and even location of temples, doctors etc.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers
    Krithika

    Hi starshine,

There's also a "Little India" shopping area in Manhattan around 28th and Lexington Avenue on the East side. About 3 blocks of indian restaurants and a two grocery shops: Kalyustan and Little India. The goods are tad pricier than Jackson Heights. Jackson Heights offers a larger selection.

Enjoy NYC!:) I love the place..missing it badly..

hi, where r u in NYC? U can either go to Jackson Heights in Queens or come to Journal Square taking path trains from 33rd street. There are lot of shops in both the places and u get variety of stuffs. Choice is yours.
    bye
