    Dear Vidya
    vanavillil ezhe vannamendru
    naam ninaithirukka
    olindu kondirukkirathu
    venmai...

While we we were thinking that the Rainbow had only seven colours, white is hiding there!

Satya has implied with this example, that beneath all we observe with our physical eyes, there is an Unseen but Eternal Truth!

    Sri
PS: Hope no one challenges my translation and interpretation! :)

    hello vidya

    come to think of it
    most of us here
    belong to your type
    we dont go after
    rituals...
    are down to earth
    kaanbome avanai
    pakkathil ulla makkalidam
    but yes some things
    like sloka religious meetings
    do have their share
    of sharing knowledge..
    why else the crowd..?
    i just break long sentences
    to make verse
    they dont rhyme
    you see?
    it saves time
    and perhaps forgets grammar
    makes short verse
    interesting to read
    just because its different..!!
or at least thats what i think...
    innum paran mel thaan irukiratha
    ettukkaal poochi?
    bathile sollavillaye?
    ....
    this rainbow colours.
    in school
    we draw seven colours
    around a circle divided
and with a pin in the centre
    just spin it around
and you will c just white...
    and like
    sri says here
    apply it to ....

thank u sudha sri and vidya
    enakku kooda konjam
    vendaantham puriyuthu polirukke..

An amazingly thoughtful write up Cheeniya Sir, i must say that i have liked each and every writing of yours... but this one is just fabulous...

i have myself wondered many times... and thought of it that whatever pooja paath... or jaap people do.. if they cant cleanse their hearts of jealous and cant stop talking foul of others... after listening to all the spritually inspiring stuff, the minute the lady came out, she started backbiting abt others and after that also its natural to get involved in the mundane things of life...

its great the way you have written about the human mind...

    thanks for sharing it.

i also want to vote for this as the Finest posts in IL

    Dear Abha
I thank you for your open appreciation for the thought I have shared with you all. But I must say this at this point. Not all the people who come to listen to such discourses are hypocrites. Many of them come to free themselves from the bonds of the mundane. The few like the people I have described make us believe that all are like them!
