    My mother-in-law,Vasantha, d/o Ramakrishna iyer, is from pudu gramam,Kadyam. she has her houses intact,with one brother there. 2 others are in the Chatram school board.

    Wow, so nice to see the tally of members in and around Tvli increasing..

    Kadayam ..hmmmmmmm...my home is in Tenkasi...near the falls. I have often crossed kadayam, on my way to ambasamudaram or alwarkurichi.

    All this reminds me of appalams, halwas, the breezy weather etc :cheers

    Meena, nice to know that we stay in nearby places in India as well as in the Gulf :hiya..Bahrain is about couple of hrs drive from here..

    and my in laws are also in kulavanikarpuram.
    nice to see a superb manvasanai thread. and saraswathi count my name both in native and dil.now i am in Dubai.
    june 18 i am coming to tvl. return on august first week. lot to discuss but after ur replies .

    Welcome to this thread :)

    Talking about manvasanai ......I hear the courtallam season is beginning...the wind has already started it seems..I will be there in few days time..to experience the saral :).
    Wow you too are going home ! but we may miss meeting each other there :-( I will be in India by May first week and return by June 10th.

    As I have repeated in this thread, my home (after marriage ) is in Tenkasi.
    I will be shuttling between chennai (my birthplace), tenkasi, kovai etc.

    Looking forward to share more about our native... here :)

    as i told i studied in convent. my hubby is from st.Xavies.
    we did our engineering in same college National Engr.Collegge.
    but purely arranged marriage.
    i realy miss the fresh jasmine flowers.and nelaliapar temple
    but tvl is developing with super markets . book shops. and so on.
    lot to say but slowly.
